Choosing a Wedding Gown
Your Wedding Gown is your once-in-a-lifetime dress that
should make you feel like the most beautiful bride in the
world. Make sure your wedding gown lives up to your dreams
by following these tips:
Bring a trusted friend with you to try on dresses, one who
has good taste and honest opinions. Your mother can be
a good choice, after all she knows you the best. Maid of
Honor and Bridesmaids are also good choices.
When trying on wedding gowns make sure you have the
same undergarments on that you'll be wearing on your big
day. Meaning the proper support of your corset or any other
support underclothing you'll be wearing under your gown.
Try dresses on with shoes that are the same size heel you’ll
be wearing on the wedding day, preferrably the actual shoes.
Make sure to try on several different styles of wedding gowns
in order to determine what is most flattering for you personally.
After you've selected the wedding gown of your dreams, you
will have to have it altered so it fits you ever so perfectly. Make
sure to get a price on this, as some alteration pricing will astound you.
You will probably be ask to pay a deposit on your wedding gown.
When doing this be sure to pay the deposit with a credit card in
case of breach of contract. Also have the wedding gown finished
at least two weeks prior to the wedding day.
Wedding gown shopping may be hard work but imagining the look on
your fiancée’s face as you walk down the aisle, may make the shopping
a little easier.
